Ever since I installed a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse my screensaver won't work.

Any ideas or suggestions (except for "get rid of them") would be appreciated.

Thanks

Go to Start / Run/type sfc /scannow ( watch the space between sfc and /) you will probably need your XP Disc. I hope this solves your problem

Have you tied looking at the settings for your screensaver (timeout and what screensaver has been set)?

Yes mattyc_92 I have tried different setting and it still won't work.

I believe it could it be the optical mouse constantly picking up a signal from the receiver?

Could Be....

Try changing the "frequency" (consult the manual)

Try plugging in a normal mouse - see if that helps. I have the same problem on wife's PC since usinf restore discs and rebuilding software. She has an optical mouse too but it used to work before. The screensaver runs in preview mode but if left to come on after selected time - never does. Not a problem with TFT monitor but annos me that I can't sort it!
