No Screen Output?!

My friend's machine is playin' up again. After booting into Windows there is just a black screen (monitor is fine) Windows boots as normal, we hear sound when loading the desktop.

Machine has on board graphics which are disabled, and an Kyro card is used in a PCI slot.
But the same thing occurs when the on board is enabled, and the Kyro has been uninstalled and taken out.

Again, the monitor is fine works on other systems.

So, are both graphics accelerators disabled in Windows? or is it something else?

Your sugguestions and solutions please!
Thank you!

I have seen where a dead or faulty PCI/AMR or CNR Modem can block and cause this problem. You may have to try rebooting a few times.

Also check Floppy disk Drive and other Drives spin a disk ok.
