No screen display on start up

When ever i turn my computer on it will never display anything on my screen. The hard drive light and flashes like it should and all the fans work inside. I have tried 2 monitors and 3 PCI graphics cards now, all which work on other computers. What do you think the problem is?
Thanks for any help

It sounds like a faulty motherboard.

When you tried the other monitors, did you use the same cable - or did you try different ones? A faulty cable is often the culprit in cases like this. Have you tried using your monitor on another computer?

i tried different cables and yes i have tried the monitors on 2 other computers and they work fine. do you recommend that i just scrap the motherboard and get a new one?
