No C.D for cannon printer

I have getting a old cannon printer from work to connect to my laptop, but there is no CD with it to be able to get it up and running. How can i make it work without using CD

i have followed the instructions on cannons download page, when it asks me to choose model, i do and then language, i do, i press submit nothing happens
