hi i did windows update now it is saying in sounds no audio devices installed can anyone help cheers pete.

Sometimes happens do a restore prior to the update. Then it should be ok . Then do your updates manually least thats what I've had to do a few times in the past

Have you, from Start>Settings>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices, checked that the individual tabs list the Default device as being Enabled?

If not and you have on-board sound, you may/will need to reinstall the drivers from the manufacturer's website - similar for a sound card.

hi thanks to everyone found disc i forgot i had it had the audio drivers on it reinstalled all working fine cheers pete.
