Am looking to buy a Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 wireless router. Will i need an adaptor for my 802.11g enabled laptop? quoted speed is 125 against normal 54.
Also will this work with cable and vista?

To get the higher wireless speed you will need to install a compatible Wireless Network Adapter in the laptop. That router is suitable for Virgin's Cable service and, as routers are "platform-independent", it will work with any operating system that supports TCP/IP networking, which includes Vista.
