New Wireless connection?

  homer 18:40 07 Dec 05

I have recently moved into a house where they have a wireless box with BT Broadband. I had 3com software and an external card which picked up the network and, after adding the security code and changing a box to WEP, picked up the broadband ok. However another person has moved in and has XP with a built in wireless card in his laptop. I have no idea how to help them set up a connection so they can also use the wireless BB. Any help please?.

and I'll move it there now.

will be able to connect to the wireless router once he/she has been provided with the WEP key. Presumably you have the key, so just pass it on, and tell the other person to enter it when prompted to do so by Windows XP.

Hi I have the WEP key but we cant find where to enter the details in windows?!. On the bar at the bottom of the screen, there is an icon of 2 monitors with a signal coming out (for the wireless I presume) but this is crossed out in red. do you think they have enabled their card?.
