For those that use it I was offered an update today of Malawarebytes (I have the Premium version but I think the same applies to the free one). Version 2.1.8.1057

JB me too did you have any problems

After installing it came up saying "oops key out of date" and some questions about where did I obtain the key from and something else about renewing the key

On the dashboard it displayed "not fully protected running in trial mode"

I came out of the program and it seems to have rectified itself after a reboot says "fully protected "

I have the premium edition and have just had the same message come up about the latest version but have done nothing the current version seems fine to me.

The update wss offered, and installed normally; I was not asked for the key - I bought a £10 "life" key about 8 months ago. Seems to me it is worth having the latest version, as they, presumably, must think it has improvements.

I have just checked to see what vesion I have. There seem to be two numbers which are 2015.06.26.02 and 2.1.6.1022

The first is the version of the malware database and the second is the version of the program. You need to update the program to the later version as it has several improvements. Just accept the update and it will self install.

If you have the paid version, I think the update is v 2.1.8.1057. Just accept the update and let it install. My previous version was as yours.
