New threat to PC?

Spybot just caught an attempted change on my PC - it wanted to add dmday.exe to my windows/system32 folder. Googling found no trace of this - does anybody know what it is?

could be a very new threat just do not let it install. If it is a new one we will all know about it very soon.

Are you on AOL?.

If you are using AOL,then look up doomsday.exe on google.

No, not on AOL as such. There is an AOL dial-up connection available on one of the user accounts on the PC but the threat came up while I was using my non-AOL broadband connection with my own user account. The AOL account hasn't been used from the PC for several months as it's usually accessed via web mail from a work PC.
