New system, but problem with cables

Hello,

I have an Asus Workstation revolution motherboard, its all running except the cdrom drives, there is no place to put the IDE ribbon cables for the CDROM or floppy etc , what cables do i need to fix up the cdrom drives please so that they get recognised in windows, they have power ?

Why not utilize what is a very good mobo by using the sata connections? and who uses a floppy these days?

Hmmmm.

Well I actually use a floppy occasionally. Albeit a USB external.

Guess it is a throwback to when I had one of the first Tandy TRS80 in the country. 4k RAM. That is not a mistype. 4k RAM and a music tape to record. Needed at least 10 copies in the hope of getting one right.

Needed to install Win95 recently on one PC to get Minolta slide scanner to work. How else would you have done it?
