New PC, Opinions Please

Hi all, I require a new PC, what are your opinions on my selections, and what if anything would you change. I don't do any gaming as such, and only use it for general use as a home PC.I just want as good as I can get for this sort of money, and also the supplier is local(15miles.) P.

I'd go for the second one with the faster dual core cpu. 1GB ram should be adequate, as will the onboard graphics. I got an 80 gig HDD in my pc when new 6 years ago, so would expect 160 - 250 gig at least these days. (ours is constantly filling with digital photos and the kids' music)
