New Operateing System

I am looking for a new operateing system to try on my PC. I know there are a few others out there so was just wandering which to go for and where to download from??

Are we talking about Windows? As you can't legally download Windows.... There are many Linux distros that you can download freely and legally

I had ago at Linux i tried 3 versions of it but to me i found it complex couldn't get my head around it but it seems to have a big following in the USA.

Yes you will find it complex, only because you are not used to it, remember when you started using Windows? I was the same as you, I didn't think I'd ever get to grips with it, now 2 years on Windows is in the bin, for what I use the computer for I can't find any good reason to return to MS Windows.

By the way, if you want to keep Windows either dual boot it with Linux, very easy, or use one of the live CD's like the ones in woodchips link.
