New Motherboard

Sorry to keep asking this but I am again unsure about my new motherboard. I had been considering the Epox 8K9A2+, which supports DDR 400. Although I am probably not going to be using it, I still want a board for an AMD Athlon XP processor with 333MHz bus, that is likely to accept a faster 400MHz bus (?) processor when they become available. Also, I wouldn't mind the board being able to support FireWire, because even though I might not be using it, it is a handy feature to have as I intend to keep the motherboard inside the PC for a few years, just upgrading things as I go along.

I have only really considered the latest Abit and Epox boards, but these each have their drawbacks. Anyone got any suggestions?
