Hi guys, using win7 64bit, sp1, just had to buy a new monitor, chose an LG model, everything fine, monitor automatically set its self up, ie resolution, etc., and its working fine, my query is, as it's the 1st time I have bought a separate monitor, do I need to use the installation disc supplied? thanks

No, as long as it is working fine, many new monitors are Plug-n-Go anyway.

thanks Nontek, I thought when posting, it seems like a silly question! I appreciate your time and advice, again many thanks

We don't have silly questions here, only 'some' silly answers LoL!

there may be other software on the disc other than just driver for monitor. plus it may give extra setting for the monitor adjustment, like colour etc
