I hate it when firms say things like 10.64Ghz Total Power which is not true and try to blind people

However, nice system, make sure they load Windows 7 and not Vista

Windows 7 rocks

Agree with madboy33©® comments on the way the processor is advertised.

What are you going to use the PC for? If it's a gaming PC then better deals are available for the money.

that machine will fly

  retep888 21:47 27 Oct 09

To make that machine to take off, you'll need GTX200 series GX cards I'm afraid.

The weakest link is the 9500GT.

I'm not a gamer. Sad to say for some, but it'll just be used for my swanning around the net and some downloadin n burnin.
sunnystaines, glad to read your comment as that's what I'd like it to do - impatient old b****r that I am!
Any more for any more?

BTW, the alternative would be a mobo bundle like this - click here - in my existing Coolermaster Centurion etc?
Thoughts?

If you're not a gamer then it's a good package :)

The only reason I say that is because the graphics card isn't a 'good' card for gaming, as retep888 has said.

If you go for the bundle you have linked to, make sure your PSU is good enough. It doesn't have a graphics card either.

<<I'm not a gamer. Sad to say for some, but it'll just be used for my swanning around the net and some downloadin n burnin.>>

Then this one click here should serve you more than adequate.

Go for the motherboard bundle from overclockers - you wont regret it.

With regards to retep888 post, do not even think about that HP with a pentium dual core (not core2duo).

Also its the satisfaction of buliding your own!

  OTT_Buzzard 22:52 27 Oct 09

I half agree with retep888; the unit he's linked to will serve your uses perfectly well.

However, the other half of me says that the rule i normally go by, is that you buy the best PC for the budget you have. Your budget is £800, therefore....
