New e-mail address

Last year I went over to Broadband with MetroNet but kept my old Freeserve (Wanadoo) e-mail address, as long as I used the Wanadoo Dial-up connection once every 90 days. If not, my account gets frozen. This is a pain.
Can I get a new, FREE, e-mail address from somewhere else or is there an easier way to keep my current address by routing it through another server?

You could try one of the free webmail services that are not dependent on an ISP account. Lycos for example click here
