Installed a new LG DVD/CD writer and when I start Windows (XP Professional) it gives me the cannot start becasue the following file is missing or corrupt: windows32/config/system.

When I take the new drive out and put the old one back in, the PC starts OK. Any suggestions?

One thing - I didn't read all the small print on the new drive box when I bought it and it says tyhe system requirement is 2.4 processor or above. My machine is only 1.6. Is this the problem maybe?

Thanks
