It is up to you which company you choose but I hope you get sorted and read some reviews, it may give you a bit of an idea.

Good luck.

I bought a base unit from click here recently and have had no problems whatsoever with it so far. I placed the order and had the system 5 days later.

I can't remember all the details but the basic spec was:

AMD 2Ghz Processor
512 Mb RAM
60 Gb HDD
52X CDRom
GEForce 64Mb Graphics
Standard Modem

I don't recall exact prices either but it was a little over £300 (that includes a standard 12 month return to base warranty)

click here, i have only ever bought hardware from them, never a full system but

in micromart they advertise systems (including Monitor but excluding software) from £256+vat (£300.31) for a Duron 1.3 up to £475 inc vat for a pentium 4, 2.6gig system

I was VERY pleased with this firm and the PC I bought. They will assemble you a base unit almost anyway you want you want [no shelling out for stuff you DON'T want] and their prices are super-economical.

Just bought a base unit for son No. 1 from Mesh and a first time purchase from them. You can get a good spec. for £450 incl. keyboard and mouse. The PC arrived within 7 days of order and on the designated day. Wonderful service.
However the best bit was the build quality of the unit, Asus Mobo, superb case etc. I used to be a fan of Dell for build quality, but Mesh exceeds Dell quality. click here
