New CD writer - NERO does not recognise it!

I have just had my PC repaired under warranty and the supplier had to change the CD writer. I had a Lite-on CD writer which was supplied with NERO (bundled). I now have a Aopen CD writer and NERO is now saying that it was not bundled with this CD writer and therefore won't work.
Can I do anything to NERO to allow it to work to the new CD writer?

Try updating Nero from click here It should be free as you already have Nero installed.

Bundled versions of nero are locked to the drive they are supplied with, this in order to stop it being copied etc. The supplier who changed the drive should know this and should have supplied the copy that came with the substitute drive. If the upgrade that POPS suggests does not fix it take it back and demand the the supplier gives you a copy that does work.

I have contacted the supplier and a new copy of Nero is in the post.
Thanks for your help.
