New case - Old bits = New computer - sort of

I have authored a few threads in the last days on this topic - witness click here

We are getting there- its all up and running formated ready to load.

One last job [ The case has a pair of USB ports built in. a pair of cables to plug into the MoBo header
But no indication which way round they can go and as powere is floating around it could be critical I guess.
Also one plug has an extra wire
What you all make if it?

It becomes confusing. Keep everything in the same thread, so people are aware of the history.

Thank you all
Having looked into the the mysteries of USB on MoBo's and as fate would have it having posted the problem - a later scan down the list show a similar plight with posts there giving links to the USB sites
I have concluded the best way is to tape those leads away and to get a PCI card at some juncture.

Don't quite agree with your Philosophy there, that post was ticked.
I also feel sometimes that some topics get a little heavy and can 'drift' better then to start a fresh.
