New Broadband Provider

I've been happy with Pipex for 4.5 years untill now when their customer service let them down so badly I was left with no option but to find a new ISP to give my money to (another story!)

I want a monthly contract only and so have been considering Virgin at about £25 for 2Mb connection, Plus Net 2 Mb connection for about £22 and finally Eclipse 2Mb connection for about about £30

As I won't exceed even Virgins 20Gb monthly allowance and they all have e mail etc, am I just being stupid considering Eclipse.

I really don't mind the extra cost IF there is really a good reason to pay but can anyone advise me please

You do not need to pay that much to get a monthly contract.

F2S offers 8 Mbits per sec for £15 (2GB cap) or £20 (10GB) cap.

There are others with similar prices.

Thanks guys but I wasn't trying to save money ~ I just don't want to waste it!

I really need to know why many people are happy to pay £30 when they can get what appears to be the same service for £20? I have to assume there is a good reason

Also can anyone tell me the e mail address format of these providers

"....what more do I get for my fiver with Virgin or my tenner with Eclispe?"

Nothing as far as I know.

F2S has so much included anyway:

Free phone support.

Your own domain name.

Your own free web-space.

Spam filters.

Email forwarding.

Email rules.

And so on.... I can't think of the others.

Not to mention the availability of 8 Mbits at no extra cost if your exchange supports it.

I can't fault it really!

Sorry, my mistake.
