Networking XP and Vista

Hope this isn't one of those cringingly obvious questions! I am hoping to buy a second desktop machine so the kids can use the internet and I don't have to fight to get on my own pc. My current one runs XP but the new one I have in mind comes with Vista. Is there likely to be any problem in setting up a wireless network with both machines running different OS? Thanks for any advice.

XP and Vista will work together in a networked environment, I do just that. My network is a hardwired service but the principles are the same.

No portion of this going to a charity, similar to the red SLVR?

Thanks anskyber, that's really helpful. Time to hunt down the cheque book I think!
