Networking using the Windows Firewall

Is the Windows Firewall (built into Windows XP) good enough to use with a network of 3 PC's. I have a network up and running and protected using Norton Firewall but this is up for renewal and I don't particularly want to pay for the renewal if the Windows Firewall works just as well.

Any advice greatfully received

Much better than the windows firewall and its free!

I agree with Thalmus on this 100% use Zone Alarm (free version) apart from being very poor the xp firewall (even in SP2) can be very difficult to set up for networking..

The Zone Alarm free version is very good but difficult to set up for networking.

Sygate is much easier:- Sygate click here

Sygate is a synch when it comes to networking - agree with Fruit Bat /\0/\

""The Zone Alarm free version is very good but difficult to set up for networking.""
I did not say that!! What I said was "the xp firewall (even in SP2) can be very difficult to set up for networking.."
