Networking Problems

I am having trouble with my network accessing the internet from the client computer i can access the internet from the host pc though the host is running XP and the client ME i had it working fine with an internal modem but there was not enough space for other things so i reverted to a external i was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

the modem properties in advanced and check that xp has not set up its internal firewall.

Good morning Spirit Of Nightmare 2003, have you tried re-running the internet connection sharing on the host machine, which will create a disk for the client? Then run that disc on the client. This should have all the new settings for you.

click here I use this instead of ICS as that seemed to cause problems with my cable modem. When installed it has all the instructions on setting the systems up.
