Networking Chat Problem

  gtscot 09:45 19 Apr 03

I used to have a small program in Win 98 which allowed me to have a sort of whiteboard to chat to my other computer on the network.
I cannot find any such program in Win XP to allow me to do this. Can anyone help please

In XP it is known as "windows messenger"

if you do the following:-

Start > run > net send "test" if it pops up, you have messenger enabled.

but when connected to the net you may find yourself suffering with messenger spam
