hi
i am planning to add a network hub on my home network so i can have 3 pcs on it.i found this network hub NETGEAR FS108 8 x 10/100 Compact Switch for about £30 from click here and i was wondering would all pc's be able to access the internet without having a main pc which has to be turned on everytime one of those pc wanted to go onto the internet.
thanks in advance

p.s. does anyone know where i can get lan cables of more than 10metres for around 50p a metre?

it allows you to connect up to 8 PCs to Ethernet LAN ports, but it doesn't have a Modem port, so the internet-connected computer would need to be running at all times for the others to be able to have internet access.

click here is the sort of thing you wont.
