Problem: The PC that is connected to our only printer and the internet is the one giving us problem. We have the broadband input connected into a router which then connects into a network hub. ( I didn't configure this in the first place and I am not really 100% confident on how it all works.). This allows internet access to the computer that drives our camera system. The original network card in the PC did not work with this arrangement so a second network card was installed. This card then worked. When we tried to use the original card for networking the bridging arrangement of the software meant that the PC lost connection with the Hub connecting it to the internet. Next we had someone from a company in Ireland who was networking our tills have a try. She tried plugging our network into the hub but also found that PC lost communication with the internet. The setup seems to be very sensitive to fiddling. We seem to need the internet running without any long interuptions, which doesn't leave much time for problem solving or fault finding. The rest of the office network is plugged into our tills so there are security and stability issues there as well... Any help would be appreciated guys
