Network Transfer Outlook Express message folders

I would be very grateful for any help with following issue :
I have 2 computers on a peer to peer wireless network
I. is a Windows 98 SE desktop running Outlook Express 6
2. is a Win XP Home laptop running O.E. 6 also.

The XP machine can "see" the O.E. message folders on the Win 98 machine and successfully import them but the reverse is not true. If I try to import message folders from the Win XP machine to Win 98 machine, the directory dialog box shows the network and its name but not its actual networked machines. Can you suggest how to make this folder transfer 2 way capable with the networked laptop's folders visible in the copy of O.E 6 on the Win 98 desktop ?

I quite happy to make registry tweaks if necessary and I apologise in advance if you feel that this question should have been addressed to a networking forum.

Thanks in anticipation
