Hi all.
No matter what I try,all I get when trying to see other PC's (2) is this error message.

All PC's are named correctly, although I have changed the workgroup name,on the off chance it was a MSHOME thing.
I am using a Linksys WAG54GS Router.XP HOME+SP2.
Have run the network setup wizard.

Would it be simpler just to get network switch or do I still need to setup the basic network first.

Which PC is missing?

Appears to be a `Master Browser` problem - one PC is `elected` to be the machine that the others refer to for the list of machines on the network.

Enable it for one machine, disable for the other 2.

to enable
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Browser\Parameters IsDomainMaster=TRUE

to disable HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Browser\Parameters IsDomainMaster=FALSE

from here; click here

Reboot all of them after changing the settings.

"Would it be simpler just to get network switch or do I still need to setup the basic network first."

You still have to set up the network.
