network range problem

  chaisemon 22:21 08 Nov 09

i am running windows 7 ultimate in macbook air bootcamp.
i am using Blekin N+ router (model:F5D8235UK4).
Everything in range within 1 meter can connect to it with no problems.
i used to connect my desktop pc, tv, laptops, playstation 3 and iphone to this router.

but since few days, only the systems that are close to it can connect to it through wifi (eg. PC and laptop if brought near).

i have the latest firmware for the router (1.01.24).

There are no obstructions that restricts wifi signals.

i havnt installed any software that conflicts with the driver.

but the SSID is shown in all my devices (with varied signal strength) no matter how far they are in house when scanned for wifi networks. but connecting to it from more than 3 meter off seems to be the problem.

i tried changing the channel from the web interface menu of the router. but everytime i click apply, a message pops up saying "invalid character" even though i didnt alter any setting or the name with any character input.

would some please help me solve this problem?
any help will be appreciated.
thank you.

Access the router and check that the wireless configure have not change and reapply the setting
