Network problems since upgrading router...

Hi all.

I have spent nearly 24 hours getting my laptop and desktop back online after doing an upgrade to my 3com router's firmware.

I should not be let loose on this kit as I failed to back up my settings first, and muchj of my headache could have been saved because I was simply missing the @fs off from my internet settings!

I have the laptop back up as I was able to go into the routers settings from here (192.168 etc)

My desktop is showing that I am connected to the network, but I am unable to connect to the 192.168 settings at all. Therefore unable to connect to the 'net.

Am I missing something please?

Yours humbly,

All sorted now thanks.

Did a system restore on desktop which seems to have sorted it it.

I was asked for a WEP key and off I went.

Note to self...must leave my settings alone...
