I have set up a network between two computers using the network setup wizard in XP. The internet shairing wizard works fine but when I try to access one computer from the other I get the following error message

"MSHOME is not accessable. You might not have permission to use this network resourse.Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently avalable."

What could cause this and what are the possible solutions?

Have you disabled firewalls on both PCs (including XP's built-in one)? And disabled simple file sharing on both?
