Network Problems

It's one of those days! I now have a network problem. I have two PC's - 1 running XP Pro and 1 running XP home networked through a belkin router. Everything was working fine until today. I had to re-install XP Pro this morning (actually ran the repair facility) and now the network from the XP Home won't work. The other one is OK. The XP Home PC says that there is a network cable unplugged but it's telling porkies. I haven't touched anything (honest guv). I've tried pinging from the XP Home to the router but no deal.
Haven't had time to try anything else - like pinging from the XP Pro to the other one. Any ideas please?

The default workgroup for XP Pro is different from XP Home. Check that during your repair the Pro Workgroup hasn't changed to the default.

Check all firewalls are switched off including the built in one in XP once you have the network working you can switch them on again.
