My neighbour has a pc that has been set up with a network password log in. She does not want this any more and wants win 98 to start up normally. Can you tell me how to cancel the password log on and go back to normal. She is not on a network a nd it is a stand alone pc. Any help would be great

Hope this is what your looking for . you need to do the following
* Got to start
* Settings *
* Control panel
* Users/password
* in-there you should see relevant info and just either delete the names or add.

No if thats not right try this.

You should have network N'hood there on your desktop. Well right click that you should 3 tabs at-the top got to the last tab and UN-TICK the Network log etc. so when the machine does boot up it goes in straight away . Hope this helps you .
