Network laptops not connecting to Internet

  wester john 15:36 30 Jan 10

I have a ZyXEL router connected to my PC (running Vista) and the network has two laptops running Vista, and a PC running XP. Until recently, and for over a year, all worked well, then in the last week or so we suddenly had a problem – the laptops would not connect to the internet (I'm using Firefox, as is one of the laptops).
I tried connecting to my old laptop running XP and there was no problem. The other PC running XP still works fine too. Could an update to Vista be causing the problem? Otherwise there have been no changes to my system.
We've tried repairing the connection, and disconnecting the router several times without success.
Grateful for any advice please.

Apart from my PC, they are all connecting wireless.
