Can anyone help me,my wireless laptop says i am connected but i still cannot sighn on,wheni click on the network it says this network requires a network key,why and how do i do this, thank you.
You probably need to enter a network key provided with your router.
In the system tray look for the icon showing radar waves/double click this and find security/Now enter the WEP/WPA encrypted key.(hope you have written this down).Alternatively, goto control on the host pc and select add wireless network (you will need a flash/pen drive) and follow the prompts.Or from the host pc,open the routers configuration page and look for security, and enter a new WEP/WPA key and then do the same to the laptop.
"Alternatively, goto control "Should read control panel
FRANNY, i see you ticked resolved...did the above help ?
