network at home and work

Hi All
Cannot find any answers to this so sorry if it has been asked before.

I have a laptop running windows 98.
I connect to home network (wired) ok
I connect to work network (wired) ok

But to change between networks boot laptop - change workgroup name - reboot - use network.

I go home.
boot laptop - change workgroup name - reboot - use network.
I go to work.
boot laptop - change workgroup name - reboot - use network.

is there some way of setting network workgroups up so you do not have to keep rebooting to access both without changing home and work network workgroups.
I do realise that to change home workgroup to same name as work would be one way, but i do not want to change all the settings of my home network.

Any help appreciated

Why not change the workgroup name just before shutting down the laptop when leaving work - change it to home workgroup, shut down, go home, boot up and you're on the network.

When finished at home, change workgroup name, shut down, go to office, boot up and join network.

Saves rebooting all the time.

Or how about naming your home network the same as your works network?
