i recently purchased a D-Link wireless router (DI-624+), i set it up, ran into errors, it wouldnt connect to the net, cold booted the router, cable modem and pc, it worked fine.

But jus about a week ago, i keep gettin little messages in the task bar sayin "a network cable is unplugged" and seconds later it connects up again! i am using an ASRock motherboard wit a built in NIC.

it is a little annoying when it suddenly happens in the middle of surfing!

is there a solution to this?

(i am running WinXP Pro, 512 ram, ntl 750k broadband)

sounds like the cable between your router and pc or modem and router is loose or damaged.

try pushing all ends in firmly and/or replacing network cable
