Network - can't see 1 PC

have a home and office network, both using wireless routers enabling VPN. At home have laptop (XP Pro) and 2 desktops (both 98SE). Laptop and 1 Desktop can see each other, neither can see the 2nd Desktop. Have checked that C drive is shared and workgroup name is the same on all. The 'invisible' PC can see itself plus the other 2 home PC's and can also connect to the office via VPN (although the office PC's don't appear in its' Network Neighbourhood). Can anyone hazard a guess where the problem lies please?

this PC used to be located in my office and was part of the network there. The Home and Office are part of the same network, so I assume that a setting has changed, rendering it invisible in 'my network places'. Any ideas please?
