a network cable is unplugged

local area connection 3, a network cable is unplugged !!!!!!!
i don't have a network cable.lol and it's driving me mad,my pc freezes and prevents me from doing things, how do i get it from my pc.
please help, i'm getting desperate.

did you fix it?

right click on My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager > Network adapters > highlight (mine is 'Intel(R) PRO/100+ PCI Adapter'> rightclick and choose 'Properties' > click on 'Disable'

go start ->control panel ->network connections right click on local area connection and then on disable
