I have just setup a home wireless network with my pc and laptop, I am useing bullguard antivirus on the pc, can this cover the laptop as well as they share the network?

It depends on the terms and conditions for the software, some will allow you to use it on more than one PC and some won't. You have to read the terms and conditions and see.

Many free antivirus programs are for home use only. Therefore if this applies to bullguard there should be no reason why you cannot install it on both machines. It cannot be shared between two computers, each one must have the program installed.

As an alternative, you could always install the well respected "AVG free" on your laptop. No problems with licensing, and updated almost daily.
