Network anomaly

I have finally achieved the integration of my laptop (WXP) into my homenetwork (PCs running W98) after difficulties with the XP wizard running on the older machines. I have one annoying hangover in that I seem to have 2 extra printers appearing in the shared area for one of the PCs. I can't find anyway of deleting them. They don't exist in my printer file which is only showing the one existing printer physically atteched to it. It does not seem to be causing a problem but it is really irritating me. How can I get rid of these two ghosts?

Have you tried just highlighting them and pressing the delete key?

Yes I've tried deleting them in the network neighbourhood area, but can't.

Try disabling Universal PlugNPlay. If you follow this link click here you can download a tool called Unplug N Pray which will help you acheive this
