Network Adaptor Problem

  Wrighty 19:08 19 Nov 07

Hi there,

Have a Acer Laptop 2 GB processor Duel Core 2 and 2GB Memory running Vista Home Premium. Purchase only a short time ago.

I have just notices in my Device manager a yellow warning triangle under Network Adaptors and the number 6T04. I know this was not there when I first got the PC only installed Office 2007, Quicktime for windows and AGV free virus software.

Everything else listed in network adaptor OK and nothing else in Device manager.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've had this same irritating little problem for quite a while now. If you do a quick search on google you'll find many others have this problem too. I believe Microsoft are aware of this, as i remember reading a knowledge base article on the subject. However, the last time I checked Microsoft were advising users to ignore it as it won't have any adverse effects on Vista.
Frustrating answer I know, but at least you know it won't cause any harm!
Sorry I don't have any links for you to check as I haven't got them where I am now.
