netmeeting between xp os and 98 os

Greetings, could anyone help me please. I used to keep in touch with the folks at home through ms messenger then run netmeeting and talk/see through it, since upgrading to xp on my laptop and downloading the latest update of ms messenger I no longer get the option of inviting anyone into netmeeting. The new version of messenger has the option of voice and/or conversation but I cant link with people on other operating systems. I note that xp still has netmeeting so there must be a way of running it?? Can anyone help.

How do you use Netmeeting with NSN messenger? I have win XP home and I can't see netmeeting.

Also where do you find your IP address?

I used to love using netmeeting on win 98
