I have 2 pcs networked and want to use MS netmeeting so the people can talk to each other.

However when I setup netmeeting it asks me for a meeting server name. Can I bypass this and just talk between the 2 pcs?

If so, has anybody ever done it and how dit you make it work?

"Dial" using the network name of the computer being called. Just key this into the box next to the yellow phone and then click the phone.
The called party must have NetMeeting running set either to answer automatically or the user must answer when it rings.

Over any TCP/IP network, which includes the Internet, you can use the IP address (if you know it). Note that firewalls and proxies might block the call unless told to behave otherwise.
