I have a Netgear DG834g all in one router and an addon wireless usb dongle. I have a pc and laptop connected via cables with no issues, and I am trying to connect another pc wirlessly. I only need to connect the third pc for the internet. It will work for a week and then stop working. I am ready to buy an extra long cable to connect it as this is very flakey. Is it the equipment I am using or something I have done ?

I am on Windows XP sp2 and have upgraded the firmware on the router.

When I use the Windows Wireless Network Wizard it gives me an error referring to an article, but I cannot get it to use the windows wizard without error.

any help appreciated

Did you get any software utility with your adapter.

Thanks for the response. Yes I got a disk with drivers and utilities on it.

Well my guess the best thing to do is to reinstall the wireless on your pc, and if you havent installed yet, plug the wireless usb into a usb port and follow the steps to install it.
