I am assisting a friend to connect a pc to broadband, set up is :-
Main PC running XP with Netgear wireless ADSL router DG834G connected to broadband via ethernet cable to port 1 of router, this is working O.K.
Second PC running 98se with Netgear Wireless PCI adapter WG311.
Second PC can "see" router at 192.168.0.1 and "wireless" network with 80% signal. BUT I cannot get second machine to access internet, can some kind soul please walk me through the correct steps required ?. I am a network novice !!

Have you put the router address into the default gateway properties box of the laptop's wireless card. Also sometimes on a 98se machine you also need to put the address into the DNS box as well.
