Netbook Power Adaptor

  schmollies 10:11 14 Jul 10

I recently purchased the above. My netbook output voltage is 12v but the lowest voltage setting on the new adaptor is 15v.

It seems to be working fine at the lowest setting of 15v but I wonder if it will cause any permanant damage. Thanks, HS.

I would stay with the original 12v that it had.
It has two jobs to do charge the batteries and run the Net-book.
There may be a difference in Amperage between the 12v and 15v also.
I am not qulified to say that it will or wont do damage, someone with a more experienced knowledge will put you right.
You cant go wrong with buying the same unit as it originally had.

NiMa Battery's need more power to charge, that's why volts are slightly above. If iit the charger you got with the Netbook, ignore what it says on it
