nero express

I tried a new mp3 converter to write mp3s onto an audio CD with the software Nero. It states automatic conversion of the 2 formats during burning of the CD. However when I try the new CD on a CD-player, it acts like there is no CD present. I checked the format through the "Properties" tab and it says "Compact Disc Audio". So I really have no ideas what I've done wrong! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I used a CD-RW. How come this affects it? Thanks for your response.

CDRW's have a less reflective surface so cannot be read by some older CD players. Try a CDR or another CD player
