Nero DVD capture is jerky

  EmptyJay 14:33 30 Oct 05

I'm using Nero Vision Express 3. I can play videos from my Sony camcorder onto pc ok, but when I select 'record' (to hard disk) the picture becomes jerky (missing bits). It does capture the (jerky) video successfully, but (not surprisingly) when it's burned it's jerky too. Help!

I can only guess as to how you describe it that either the hard drive or the cam are not running at the same speed and the difference is the jerky results,or you have other programs like a virus scanner ckecking the file as it saves.

Not enough RAM
You need probably at least a Gig to get a 'smooth' recording

NO,i disagree you can capture video with 256 of ram quite easy, maybe it would take longer but it can be done to a good result.
